The mission of this office is to support parish catechetical programs that provide catechesis for children ages 5 - 13 and their families. It also serves to provide assistance, direction and on going training for catechetical leaders responsible for directing parish elementary catechesis.

The CLDB (Catechetical Leaders of the Diocese of Bridgeport) is a diocesan organization of catechetical leaders. This organization’s aim is to strengthen the ministry of catechesis in the Diocese and enhance the professional growth, spiritual life and personal support of its members.
